SCOPE

The scholarship covers the cost, in whole or in part, of two living expenses:

• on-campus housing
• daily kosher meals (3 meals per day, 6 days per week)

ELIGIBILITY

The scholarship is a unique opportunity for students who are

• interested in actively exploring their Jewish heritage,
• academically motivated,
• Jewish according to Halakha,
• socially concerned.

The major criteria for calculating the scholarship amount are

• income of each family member,
• number of parents in the family home,
• profession and status of parents,
• financial need in the family,
• average per capita income of the city/country of origin,
• distance of home from Vienna,
• age,
• personal savings,
• other scholarships and bursaries.
